She’s remembered for her “AGT” appearance at age 10 and performing arias, showtunes, and standards around the world and at major events. Now, Jackie Evancho is expanding her musical style and has a new EP called “Solla.”

SIDEWALKS host Lori Rosales talks to singer Jackie Evancho about musical career, her latest EP “Solla,” and co-producing the EP with Smash Mouth’s founding member and songwriter Greg Camp.

Mini-Biography:

Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Jackie Evancho is a platinum-selling recording artist who first became a worldwide sensation at the age of 10 years old, when she sang “O Mio Babbino Caro” on season 5 of NBC’s “America’s Got Talent (AGT).” Before “AGT,” she issued her first Independent studio album, “Prelude to a Dream,” which attracted interest on YouTube. Evancho has achieved an impressive feat in just over ten years, releasing ten albums and DVDs that have reached the top of the charts. The artist has also been featured in three popular PBS television specials, starred as Isabel in the film “The Company You Keep” alongside Robert Redford, participated in a Guess clothing campaign at the invitation of Paul Marciano, and performed around the globe for various world leaders and at major events. Furthermore, Evancho has collaborated with renowned musicians including Tony Bennett, Barbara Streisand, Placido Domingo, Josh Groban, Chris Botti, Joshua Bell, Il Volo, David Foster, Andrea Bocelli, and José Carreras, among others, in addition to her individual achievements. In 2017, she and her family were on TLC’s “Growing Up Evancho,” a special aimed to provide a glimpse into Jackie’s life since her initial appearance on “AGT.” In 2019, she also returned to the NBC spinoff show in “AGT – The Champions.” In 2020, she made another reality series appearance as “The Kitty” on FOX’s “The Masked Singer.”
