SIDEWALKS host Cindy Rhodes interviews the lead stars of “Devious Maids.” Along with talking about their new Marc Cherry (“Desperate Housewives”) series where Lucci plays Genevieve Delatour and Ortiz as Marisol Duarte, the two discuss their desires in getting into acting and what they like to do in their off times from show business.

Mini-Biographies:
An actress, author and businesswoman, Susan Lucci is best known for playing Erica Kane on “All My Children” for 41 years. Born in Scarsdale, New York, she won an Emmy® for “Best Actress” in 1999, received a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2005, and was inducted into the Broadcasting Hall of Fame in 2006. Her other acting credits include a string of TV-movies and TV series, such as “Hot in Cleveland,” “Army Wives,” “The Love Boat,” “Fantasy Island,” and “Dallas.” Additionally, she competed on ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars” and hosted “Saturday Night Live.” Lucci is also the host and narrator of “Deadly Affairs.” In 2011, Lucci released her New York Times bestselling autobiography, “All My Life.” Beyond acting, she has her “Susan Lucci Collection” of hair care products, two fragrances, jewelry, shoes, and accessory lines, and a lingerie line for “beauty of all ages.”

Born in Manhattan, Ana Ortiz started her career in regional theater productions, including her professional debut at the Philadelphia Repertory Theater as Cecile in “Les Liaisons Dangereuses.” Her breakout role came playing Hilda Suarez in ABC’s ”Ugly Betty,” where she earned both ALMA® and Imagen Awards® for Best Supporting Actress for her portrayal as Betty’s (America Ferrera) sassy older sister. Along with starring in the short-lived series “Kristen” and “A.U.S.A,“ and recurring in “Hung,” “Over There” and “Boston Legal,” Ortiz has appeared in guest roles including “Army Wives,” “Freddie,” “North Shore,” “Greetings from Tucson,” “NYPD Blue,” “Dr. Quinn: Medicine Woman,” “Commander In Chief,” “ER,” “The New Adventures of Old Christine,” and “Everybody Loves Raymond.” Her feature film credits include the independent feature “Tortilla Heaven,” “Carolina,” “Little Girl Lost: The Delimar Vera Story” and “Big Mommas House 3: Like Father, Like Son.”
