SIDEWALKS host Lori Rosales talks to actor Ian Somerhalder about starting as a model at a young age and his comparisons to his previous character of Damon Salvatore on “The Vampire Diaries” to his latest role as Dr. Luther Swann on Netflix’s “V Wars.”
Mini-Biography:
Born and raised in Covington, Louisiana, Ian Somerhalder is remembered for playing Boone Carlyle in “Lost” and Damon Salvatore in “The Vampire Diaries.” Started his career in modeling, his first main TV role was in “Young Americans” and he had recurring roles on “Smallville” and “Tell Me You Love Me.” Some of Somerhalder’s film credits include “The Rules of Attraction,” “In Enemy Hands,” “Pulse,” “Wake,” “How to Make Love to a Woman,” and “The Anomaly.” On “V Wars,” Somerhalder is the lead star, as well as an executive producer and director for several episodes of season 1.
