SIDEWALKS east coast correspondent Darren Paltrowitz talks to “Gangs of London” actor Sope Dirisu (who plays Elliot Carter, an undercover police officer who infiltrates the ranks of the Wallace Organization) and director Corin Hardy about the hit British drama.

Mini-Biographies:

Born in Edgware, London, Sope Dirisu is a British actor. In films, he was in “Sand Castle,” “The Huntsman: Winter’s War,” “Criminal, “His House,” “Mothering Sunday,” “Silent Night,” “Tides,” and “Mr. Malcolm’s List.” On TV, Dirisu appeared in multiple episodes of “The Mill,” “The Casual Vacancy,” “Humans,” “Undercover,” and “The Halcyon.” He also appeared in “Nosedive” episode of the anthology series, “Black Mirror.”

Corin Hardy is a director, writer and producer, who made his directorial debut with 2015’s “The Hallow,” a film he also co-wrote. He directed “The Nun,” a spin-off / prequel film of “The Conjuring 2.” On “Gangs of London,” Hardy directed a number of episodes.
