Mini-Biographies:

Known as “The Red Rocker,” Sammy Hagar was born on October 13, 1947, in Salinas, California. He cut his teeth in the late 1960s California club scene with early bands like The Fabulous Catillas, Skinny, Justice Brothers, and Dust Cloud. Over a career spanning more than five decades, he has achieved significant milestones including fronting the hard rock band Montrose in the early 1970s, launching a multi-platinum solo career with hits like “I Can’t Drive 55,” and leading Van Halen through their most commercially successful era with four consecutive No. 1 albums. He was involved with many supergroups, such as HSAS, Chickenfoot, and The Circle. Hagar’s accomplishments include induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2007, receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2024, and founding the highly successful Cabo Wabo Tequila brand and restaurant chain.

Michael Anthony Sobolewski, professionally known as Michael Anthony, was born on June 20, 1954, in Chicago, Illinois, and grew up in Arcadia, California, where he played in early bands like Poverty’s Children, Black Opal, Balls, and Snake. He rose to international fame as the powerhouse bassist and signature high-tenor backing vocalist for Van Halen, performing on the band’s first 11 albums and anchoring their sound through both the David Lee Roth and Sammy Hagar eras. His career accomplishments include a 2007 induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the creation of his successful Mad Anthony’s Hot Sauce line, and his continued work in elite supergroups such as Chickenfoot and The Circle. As of 2026, Anthony remains a vital force in rock as a core member of The Best of All Worlds Band.
