SIDEWALKS host Veronica Castro interviews the actor and comedian about his start in standup and his voice role as Norm in the animated “Norm of The North.” Plus, Schneider gives his thoughts on the passing of his friend and standup colleague Robin Williams.
Born in San Francisco, California, Rob Schneider is an actor and comedian. He was a writer and featured player on “Saturday Night Live” (1990-94), where some of his popular recurring characters include The Richmeister, Carlo, and The Sensitive Naked Man. In films, Schneider starred in “Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo,” “The Hot Chick,” “The Benchwarmers,” and “Grown Ups,” as well as supporting roles in “Surf Ninjas,” “Judge Dredd,” “The Beverly Hillbillies,” “Demolition Man,” and “Down Periscope.” He starred in TV comedies “Men Behaving Badly,” “Rob,” and “Real Rob.”
