In the full interview, interior designer Nate Berkus returns to our show and talks about a celebrity home he redesigned, his favorite accomplishment, and how he is involved with Blue Bunny that help local ice cream parlors with “The Heart of Fun” campaign (submissions end July 12, 2021). The campaign has grants and prizes to help keep the ice cream businesses open in their local communities.

Mini-Biography:
Born in Orange County, California, Nate Berkus is an interior designer, television host and author, who started his interior design firm at the age of 24. With many appearances on “The Oprah Winfrey Show,” he went on become a TV personality with his own shows, including ABC’s “Oprah’s Big Give,” NBC’s “American Dream Builders,” his own daily morning show “The Nate Berkus Show,” and “Nate and Jeremiah By Design” on TLC. Berkus’ work has been featured in Architectural Digest, House Beautiful, Vogue, InStyle, O Magazine, People, and Elle Décor. His product lines are in the home collection at Target and a fabric line at JoAnn Fabric & Craft Stores. Berkus is also an Artistic Advisor for LG Studio. In print, “Home Rules” (2005) and “The Things That Matter” were two New York Times bestselling books. In 2011, he served as Executive Producer of the Oscar-winning film, “The Help.” His latest TV show, “The Nate & Jeremiah Home Project,” is scheduled to air on HGTV in the fall 2021.
