SIDEWALKS host Lori Rosales interviews “Tyler Perry’s All the Queen’s Men” star Eva Marcille and the show’s creator, executive producer and co-star Christian Keyes. They talk about the series and how Keyes made the pitch to Tyler Perry in making the show, which is based on his novel, “Ladies Night.”

Mini-Biographies:

Born in Los Angeles, Eva Marcille is an actress, fashion model and television personality, who started her career as the winner of the third cycle of “America’s Next Top Model” in 2004. Along with modeling and appearing on covers of top magazines, Marcille played Tyra Hamilton on “The Young and the Restless,” Tara on “Born Again Virgin,” and had a recurring role as Tracie Evans on “Tyler Perry’s House of Payne.” In films, she played Hope in “I Think I Love My Wife,” a news reporter on “Super Capers,” Vanessa in “Crossover,” and Marla Peters on “The Fright Night Files,” “For the Love of Lockwood” and “For the Love of Lockwood Too.” In reality TV, Marcille appeared on “Girlfriend Confidential: LA,” “Scared Famous,” “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” and “The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip.” She also co-host “The Rickey Smiley Morning Show” and hosts her own podcast called “The Undressing Room.” Additionally, Marcille has her own jewelry line called Eva by Eva Marcille and the founder of cEVAD, a beauty company dedicated to natural CBD-based products. On BET+’s “All the Queen’s Men,” she plays the lead character of Marilyn ‘Madam’ DeVille.

Born in Detroit, MI and raised in Flint, Christian Keyes is busy on both in front-and-behind the cameras. He has been a main cast member on TV series “She’s Still Not Our Sister,” “Saints & Sinners,” “In Contempt,” and an arc on “The Young and the Restless,” as well as recurring parts on “Let’s Stay Together,” “Supernatural,” “The Family Business,” “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow,” “The Boys,” “9-1-1,” “The Rookie,” and “All Rise.” Some of Keyes’ films include “Diary of a Mad Black Woman,” “Madea Goes to Jail,” “What’s Done in the Dark,” “Perfect Combination,” “Lord, All Men Can’t Be Dogs,” “Note to Self,” “Act Like You Love Me,” and “The Man in 3B.” As an author, he wrote “Ladies Night” and “Dr. Feelgood.” In music, Keyes released album “Day By Day” in 2005. On BET+’s “All The Queen’s Men,” Keyes is creator, executive producer, writer and a recurring actor, who plays The Concierge.
