SIDEWALKS host Lori Rosales welcomes actors Elliot Knight and Uli Latukefu, two of the stars of Prime Video’s “Countdown.” They talk about the series, as well as Elliot’s journey voicing a character in “Call of Duty,” and Uli’s singing talent.

Mini-Biographies:
Born in Birmingham, United Kingdom, Elliot Knight plays FBI Special Agent Keyonte Bell on “Countdown.” His first major role was the title character in the 2012 television series “Sinbad.” Knight’s other notable roles include Charlie O’Brien in the British crime drama “By Any Means,” Merlin in “Once Upon a Time,” Brady Ross in “American Gothic,” Wes Charles in “Life Sentence,” and Colin Hauser on “The Boys.” On film, Knight appeared in “Billionaire Ransom” in 2016 and “Color Out of Space” in 2020. He is also known for his voice and motion-capture work as Sergeant Kyle “Gaz” Garrick in the “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare” video game series.
Uli Latukefu, who plays LAPD Detective Luke Finau on “Countdown,” is an Australian actor and singer who has appeared in numerous films and television series, including portraying a young Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson in the NBC comedy series “Young Rock,” a role for which he was handpicked by Johnson himself. His other notable roles are Byamba in the Netflix series “Marco Polo,” Darren Ngata in “Doctor Doctor,” Cole in the film “Alien: Covenant,” the lead role of Fritz in the film “The Legend of Baron To’a,” Tongan Sam in “Last King of the Cross,” Lug in “Laid,” and Callum in “The Last Anniversary.” Latukefu also appeared in the DC feature film “Black Adam,” “Next Goal Wins,” and “MaXXXine.
