SIDEWALKS Cindy Rhodes welcomes back actors Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughan, the lead stars of the popular “Outlander” TV series, as they talk about the evolution of their characters of Claire and Jamie, respectively. Additionally, they discuss their fans.

Born in Monaghan, Ireland, Caitriona Balfe started her career in modeling. She appeared on advertising campaigns, runways and magazine covers. In films, she has appeared in “Escape Plan,” Super 8,” “Now You See Me,” and “Crush,” as well as the digital series “H+.”

Born in Scotland, Sam Heughan was trained at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama and was nominated for “Most Promising Performance” at the 2003 Laurence Olivier Awards. He has starred in many roles in theater, television and film, including the stage production of Macbeth (Nottingham, Edinburgh Lyceum), Emulsion (White Lantern Films), and as a regular character in BBC Soaps, “River City” and “Doctors.” In 2011, Heughan starred as Batman in the worldwide touring stage show, “Batman Live.”

    Found an older Sidewalk interview on You Tube & was happy to find a newer one on your website re the Outlander actors. Your interviewer was able to draw out interesting info about each individual as well as the direction of Season 1b. Too bad this one is not posted on You Tube where more people can find & enjoy your work.
