Born on October 25, 1998, in London, England, Bessie Carter plays Nancy Mitford, the eldest Mitford sister, on “Outrageous.” She is best known for her role as Prudence Featherington on the Netflix series, “Bridgerton.” Her other notable roles are playing Margaret Gidman in BBC One’s “Cranford,” Evie Wilcox on BBC One / Starz’s “Howards End” and Violet Woodhouse on ITV’s “Beecham House.” She also appeared in “I Hate Suzie” and “A Cruel Love: The Ruth Ellis Story.” In treater, Carter performed on “Dear Octopus,” “King Lear,” “Baskerville,” “All My Sons,” and “Mrs Warren’s Profession.”

Born June 3, 1964 in Taunton, England, James Purefoy portrays David Freeman-Mitford, the siblings’ father, in “Outrageous.” He is known for playing Marcus Antonius in the HBO’s “Rome,” Nick Jenkins in Channel 4’s “A Dance to the Music of Time,” Joe Carroll in Fox’s “The Following,” Solomon Kane in the film “Solomon King,” Spence Parks in “Resident Evil,” and Hap Collins in Sundance’s “Hap and Leonard.” His other notable roles are playing Lord Phillipe de Clermont in the season two of AMC/Netflix series “A Discovery of Witches,” Laurens Bancroft in the first season of Netflix’s “Altered Carbon,” and Captain Gulliver “Gully” Troy / Captain Blighty in multiple seasons of Starz / Max’s “Pennyworth.” Some of Purefoy’s films are “A Knight’s Tale,” “Blessed,” “Vanity Fair,” “John Carter,” “Momentum,” “High-Rise,” “Equity,” “Churchill,” and “Fisherman’s Friends” and sequel “Fisherman’s Friends: One and All.” Purefoy will be playing King Randor in “Masters of the Universe.”
