Mini-Biography:
Born on October 3, 1965, in Adams, Tennessee, Leanne Morgan is a stand-up comedian, actress, and author. She began her comedy career in her 30s after moving to Bean Station, Tennessee, selling jewelry door-to-door and making clients laugh with stories about motherhood and domestic life. Following decades of touring the club circuit and releasing popular comedy specials, Morgan achieved mainstream stardom with her hit 2023 Netflix special “Leanne Morgan: I’m Every Woman.” Beyond stand-up, she published her memoir “What in the World?!” in 2024 and expanded into acting, co-starring in the comedy film “You’re Cordially Invited” alongside Reese Witherspoon and Will Ferrell and starring in the Chuck Lorre-produced Netflix sitcom “Leanne.”
