With the final season of “You” on Netflix now streaming, there has been renewed interest in our season one interview with Elizabeth Lail and Penn Badgley from 2018. SIDEWALKS host Veronica Castro talked to the lead stars about their acting and their roles in “You,” which was first seen on Lifetime before moving to Netflix.
Mini-Biographies:
Born in Williamson County, Texas, Elizabeth Lail is best known for playing Anna (character from “Frozen”) during the fourth season of “Once Upon a Time.” She also played Amy Hughes on Freeform’s “Dead of Summer.” Some of her guest roles include “The Blacklist” and “The Good Fight.”
Born in Baltimore, Maryland, actor / singer Penn Badgley is known for his popular role of Dan Humphrey on The CW’s “Gossip Girl.” Before that series, he was a regular on two The WB series, “The Mountain” and “The Bedford Diaries.” In films, Badgley was in “John Tucker Must Die,” “The Stepfather,” “Easy A,” “Margin Call,” and “Greetings from Tim Buckley.” In music scene, he is the lead singer for the independent band, MOTHXR.
