by host Richard R. Lee at the SuperCon convention,
just added lost interview with The Go-Go`s musician,
who talks about the success of the group, her
appearance on the reality show The Surreal Life,
and her new role as Lady Robotika, a comic book
cyborg superheroine.
Mini-Biography:
Jane Wiedlin is a musician,
singer-songwriter, and actress. She is best known as
a member of the popular female rock band, The Go-Go's,
where she is a rhythm guitarist.
The Go-Go's sold more than seven million albums and
had hit singles, such as "We Got the Beat,"
"Vacation," "Our Lips Are Sealed," and Head over
Heels."
Jane has released four solo albums: "Jane Wiedlin,"
"Fur," "Tangled," and "Kissproof World."
Jane has acted in movies, including "Star Trek IV:
The Voyage Home," "Bill & Ted's Excellent
Adventure," "Clue," and Golan-Globus' "Sleeping
Beauty." Additionally, she has done voice work in a
number of animated projects, such as The New
Batman Adventures, Mission Hill and
"Demonic Toys: Personal Demons."
In 2005, Jane appeared in the fourth season of VH1's
The Surreal Life.
Recently, she is involved with the comic book, "Lady
Robotika," about Jane turning into a cyborg
superheroine.
