The Ultimate Event for
Baseball Fans
Since 1991, Major League Baseball (MLB) has been
presenting FanFest, an interactive baseball
theme park and the largest baseball fan event in the
United States.
The five-day event, which is held days before the
All-Star Game's host city, features interactive
activities and historical exhibits. Fans are treated
to life-size video batting and pitching cages, free
autographs from Hall of Fame players and Major
League Baseball legends, youth skills clinics taught
by current and former MLB players, and much more.
In this
July 2007 story segment taped at San
Francisco's Moscone West convention center, host
Richard R. Lee and videographers Justin Langston and
Christian Wimmer give viewers a look at the
activities of MLB"s annual event. The piece includes
interviews with Morgan Littlefield, Director Special
Events, MLB; David Hunt, President of Hunt Inc.
Auctions; and Charles Fazzino, a 3-D pop artist, who
designed and presented his MLB All-Star Game
commemorative artwork at FanFest.
