Pussycat Dolls lead goes Rio
A Honolulu native who was raised in Louisville,
Kentucky, Nicole Scherzinger is best known as
the lead singer of the Pussycat Dolls.
She first gained exposure as one of the winners of
the competition TV series, Popstars, which
led to the formation of the all-girl pop group, Eden's
Crush.
Nicole is also an actress and acted in the film,
"Chasing Papi" as the character Miss Puerto Rico.
She appeared on the sitcom, My Wife and Kids.
As part of the Pussycat Dolls, they had five hit
singles, their first album “PCD” going
double-Platinum, and a Grammy nomination.
Nicole also ranked #22 on the "Maxim" Magazine Hot
100 of 2007 list.
