Rising Actress swims
with a Dolphin in new film
Born in Valparaiso, Indiana, actress Carly
Schroeder started her showbiz career at the age
of three in print advertisements and television
commercials.
In 1997, she became well known to daytime fans for
playing Serena Baldwin, the daughter of Scotty
Baldwin (played by Kin Shriner) in General
Hospital and later in its spinoff, Port
Charles.
Carly also had a recurring role on the Disney
Channel's Lizzie McGuire and appeared on that
show's big-screen follow up, "The Lizzie McGuire
Movie."
In 2007, she played the lead in "Gracie," a film
inspired by a real-life tragedy during the childhood
of actors Elisabeth Shue and Andrew Shue.
Other roles include: "Growing Up Brady," "Mean
Creek," "Firewall," and "Prey."

her career, working on TV and film projects, and
meeting actress Hillary Duff during her time
on Lizzie McGuire.
