Rising Actress swims
with a Dolphin in new film

Born in Valparaiso, Indiana, actress Carly Schroeder started her showbiz career at the age of three in print advertisements and television commercials.

In 1997, she became well known to daytime fans for playing Serena Baldwin, the daughter of Scotty Baldwin (played by Kin Shriner) in General Hospital and later in its spinoff, Port Charles.

Carly also had a recurring role on the Disney Channel's Lizzie McGuire and appeared on that show's big-screen follow up, "The Lizzie McGuire Movie."

In 2007, she played the lead in "Gracie," a film inspired by a real-life tragedy during the childhood of actors Elisabeth Shue and Andrew Shue. Other roles include: "Growing Up Brady," "Mean Creek," "Firewall," and "Prey."

In this August 2007 interview, host Cindy Rhodes speaks to the young starlet about how she started her career, working on TV and film projects, and meeting actress Hillary Duff during her time on Lizzie McGuire.

As part of the promotional tour, Carly talks about her 2007 film, "Eye of The Dolphin."
