Molly is all Grown Up
A native of Roseville, California, Molly Ringwald
is an actress, author and singer.
Best known for starring in a string of popular 80's
films, Molly was in “Sixteen
Candles," “The Breakfast Club," “Pretty in Pink,"
“The Pick-Up Artist," “For Keeps," “Betsy’s
Wedding," “Fresh Horses," “Some Folks Call It a
Sling Blade," and “P.K. and the Kid."
Other films include “Strike It Rich," “Face the
Music," “Malicious,” “Kimberly,” “Cut,” “Cowboy Up,"
“The Weeds,” “Office Killer," “Baja,” “Requiem for
Murder," “Teaching Mrs. Tingle," “The Translator,”
and “The Giving Tree."
She has appeared in multiple theater productions and
many television movies. She also guest-starred on
television shows, including Medium,
Townies, The Outer Limits, The Facts
of Life and Diff’rent Strokes.
Molly is the author of her first book, entitled
“Getting The Pretty Back,” with autobiographical
information as well as guidance, hints, and advice
on subjects as diverse as motherhood, romance,
friends, fashion, food and music.
On TV, Molly is currently starring as
Anne Juergens
in The Secret Life of the American Teenager.
In the full 2010 interview, Molly briefly talks
about working on the John Hughes film, as well as
her writing a book and releasing a jazz album.
As part of the promotional tour,* she tells us about

“Recipe for a Good Start” contest, a national search
for moms who think that they have the right recipe
