LeAnn wants kids to Go Green
Born in Jackson, Mississippi and raised in Garland,
Texas, LeAnn Rimes is one of the biggest
talents in the country music scene.
LeAnn has two
Grammy® Awards (including the first Best New Artist
accolade ever won by a country music artist), three
Academy of Country Music Awards, an American Music
Award, and 12 Billboard Awards. She has sold more than 37 million records.
LeAnn had numerous hit singles, including “One Way
Ticket,” “I Need You,” “Nothin’ Bout Love Makes
Sense,” “Probably Wouldn’t Be This Way,” “Can’t
Fight The Moonlight, and “How Do I Live," which was
the longest-running single ever on the Billboard Hot
100 that spent a record-setting 69 weeks on the
chart.
In this 2007 interview with host Cindy Rhodes, LeAnn
talks about her CD, "Family," of which she has
written or co-written every song.
