John talks country

Born in Amarillo, Texas, John Rich is a country music artist, who is best known as half of the duo, Big & Ri
ch, with Big Kenny.

From 1992 to 1998, John was a member of the band Lonestar.

Along with Big & Rich, John has co-written singles for multiple artists, including Cowboy Troy, Gretchen Wilson and Keith Anderson and produced records for several other artists, including Jewel's country album.

On TV, John is a judge on NBC's version of Nashville Star. Additionally, he is the host of CMT's Gone Country.

In the complete 2008 interview with SIDEWALKS correspondent Ray Alvarado, John talks about his love for country music, producing country albums with other artists, and how to write the perfect country song. As part of the promotional tour*, taped a couple of days before the 2nd season premiere of Gone Country on CMT, John discusses his involvement with the hit reality show.
