Sugar Ray frontman and
"Extra" TV host goes animated on-line
Born in Hartford, Connecticut and raised in Southern
California, the multi-talented Mark McGrath
is known to the mainstream public as a musician and
TV personality.
In 1992, Mark helped formed Sugar Ray, a
group that had major success with their albums and
singles, including "Fly," "Falls Apart," "When It's
Over," and "Someday."
Mark is currently
a TV host with Dayna Devon for the syndicated
magazine series, Extra. Other on-air
appearances include: guest judge on American Idol,
Law & Order: SVU, Las Vegas and North Shore. He also appeared with Sugar Ray in
the 2002 feature film "Scooby-Doo."
In this
June 2007 interview, host Rafael Siegel speaks to
the twice-labeled "Sexiest Man Alive" by People
Magazine about the current status of Sugar Ray and
changing his personality from rocker to TV host.
As part of the promotional tour*,
Mark also talks about
the online webisodes called Sprays in the City, a
new tongue-in-cheek animated series that is filled
with celebrities and gossip. Mark does the voice of
Mr. More, the big brother of character
Spraychel. In addition to Mark, he is joined by his
other Sprays co-stars, Spraychel and Spritzy.
