Singer with a blend of R&B with swing and vocal jazz

Born in Denver, Colorado and raised in the Dallas area, singer Lina is known as a neo-soul recording artist.

She released her first CD, Stranger on Earth, in 2001 with singles "Playa No More" and "It's Alright."

In this 2005 interview that has been repackaged with scenes of her performing on stage, Sidewalks host Rafael Siegel talks with Lina about her music, does she consider herself a diva, and the CD she was promoting at the time, The Inner Beauty Movement.

Her latest CD is called "Morning Star" from MoodStar Recordings. It is scheduled for release on February 12, 2008.
