artist gives her
1st TV interview to 'Sidewalks'
At the young age of 19, San Jose, California native
Jessica Johnson has extensive experience
playing the San Francisco Bay Area music circuit.
Her music is comparable to artists such as Norah
Jones and Corinne Bailey Rae, and like those
singers, her bright, vibrant voice reaches all
generations.
Jessica began her journey to stardom at the age of 5
in the San Jose Musical Theater. She is a recipient
of many awards for best vocals and performance:
winner of Marin Star Search, winner of 4 Grand
Championship Awards at the California State Talent
Competition, was a contestant on Apollo Amateur
Night on Tour, and opened for Rose Royce at the
Avalon Club.
Jessica
has been singing the National Anthem since she was
12 years old for professional events such as the San
Jose Sharks, Oakland A’s, San Francisco Giants,
Golden State Warriors, LA Dodgers, Anaheim Ducks,
and San Jose SaberCats. Additionally, Jessica has
performed at regional venues from the Village's Golf
and Country Club, Catalina's Jazz Club, Fairmont
Hotel Lobby Lounge to the Octavia Lounge.

the beautiful singer following her record release
party about her musical start, her numerous awards,
the development of her debut CD, "'Till It Happens
to You" (a collection of jazz standards and
originals) and where she views her career in
twenty years. Additionally, she gives career advice
to other aspiring performers.
