Musical Legends record a
CD together ... for the first time!
Grammy-award® winning singing legends Al
Jarreau and George Benson have united
for their first-ever album together, “Givin’
It Up.”
In this 2006 interview to promote the album,
the internationally-famous pop, jazz, and
R&B musicians talk to
Sidewalks
host Cindy Rhodes about the CD that
features
new arrangement of one of the other’s
biggest hits and also includes cover tunes
of “Summer Breeze,”
Bring it on Home to Me,"
and “Every Time You Go Away,” as well as a
new jazz vocal versions of the Miles Davis
classics “Four” and “‘Long Come Tutu.”
Additionally, the duo tells us a funny story
on how Paul McCartney made an
unexpected appearance during the recording
of the CD.
