Mini-Biography
Born in Cowes, Isle of Wight, Jeremy Irons is
a winner of the Best Actor Academy Award® for his
performance as Claus von Bulow in “Reversal of
Fortune.”
He was the voice of the evil lion Scar in Disney’s
“The Lion King.” He previously narrated Dereck and
Beverly Joubert’s “Ultimate Enemies”, “Eye of the
Leopard,” “Living with Big Cats,” and “Relentless
Enemies: Lions and Buffalos.”
Winner of the French Cesar Award, Golden Globe
Award, Primetime Emmy Award®, Tony Award and SAG
Awards, Jeremy has an extraordinary resume of film,
television and theatre performances, including “The
French Lieutenant’s Woman,” “The Mission,” “Dead
Ringers,” “Damage,” “M. Butterfly,” and “Lolita.”
Other career highlights include “Being Julia,”
“Appaloosa,” “Stealing Beauty, and “Die Hard: With a
Vengeance.”
