in La Jolla, California, actress Marcia Gay Harden won an Oscar® Award for her portrayal
of Lee Krasner opposite Ed Harris in the 2001
drama, “Pollock.”
She was nominated for a second
Academy Award® for Best Supporting Actress for
Clint Eastwood’s Oscar-winning motion picture
“Mystic River.”

In the latest 2007 interview with Sidewalks
host Cindy Rhodes, Marcia talks about Comfort
CAREvan, which will travel throughout the United
States in November and December, delivering
comforting care to families (no matter what the
ailment) in each city at which it stops. For every
person who visits the Comfort CAREvan, monies up to
$10,000 will be donated to HELP USA, a national
organization which Marcia avidly supports and which
helps the homeless and other people in need become
and remain self-reliant.*
In our first interview taped November 9, 2006 with Cindy, Marcia talked about how she
got started in the business and which Hollywood
big-name she would like to work with.
