Jami talks about her holiday TV-movie
Born in Chicago, Illinois, actress Jami Gertz
co-starred in the short-lived, but cult classic
1980s TV series Square Pegs with Sarah
Jessica Parker and recently starred in the CBS
comedy series, Still Standing
with Mark Addy.
Jami guest-starring on popular TV shows such as
Seinfeld, ER, and Dream On. She
received an Emmy® nomination for her guest-starring
role on Ally McBeal.
Jami made her film debut alongside Tom Cruise
in “Endless Love.” Her additional film credits
include “Keeping Up with the Steins,” “Lucky 13,”
“Twister,” “The Lost Boys,” “Less Than Zero,”
“Sixteen Candles,” and “Crossroads.”
She also received critical acclaim starring as the
late comedic legend Gilda Radnor in the television
movie, “Gilda Radner: It’s Always Something.”
On stage, she appeared in the Off-Broadway
production of Garry Marshall’s “Wrong Turn at
Lungfish” with George C. Scott. She also
starred in “Come Back, Little Sheba” and “Out of Gas
on Lover’s Leap.”
In the 2007 interview with host Rafael Siegel, Jami
talks about starting in show business and a
potential career as a figure skater.

her 2007 seasonal film, “Lost Holiday: The Jim and
Suzanne Shemwell Story,” a Lifetime Original Movie
