Rafael goes one-on-one with David Duchovny

Born in New York City, New York, actor David Duchovny became well known as FBI Special Agent Fox Mulder on the cult-following sci-fi series, The X-Files. In 1997, he received a Golden Globe Best Actor award for the role.

David was also Jake, the narrator in the Red Shoe Diaries (1992–1997). Some of his feature films include "Working Girl" (1988), "Beethoven" (1992), "The X-Files: Fight the Future" (1998), and "Full Frontal" (2003).

Currently, he plays Hank Moody, a troubled novelist in Showtime's series, Californication.

In this September 2007 interview, host Rafael Siegel interviews the actor about starting his career as an actor following an undergraduate degree from Princeton University and a graduate degree in English Literature at Yale University, doing nude scenes in his Showtime series, the DVD release of his film, “The TV Set,” and, at the time, the status of a new “X-Files” feature film.
