Rafael goes one-on-one with David Duchovny
Born in New York
City, New York, actor David Duchovny became
well known as FBI Special Agent Fox Mulder on the
cult-following sci-fi series, The X-Files. In
1997, he received a Golden Globe Best Actor award
for the role.
David was also Jake, the narrator in the Red Shoe
Diaries (1992–1997). Some of his feature films
include "Working Girl" (1988), "Beethoven" (1992),
"The X-Files: Fight the Future" (1998), and "Full
Frontal" (2003).
Currently, he plays Hank Moody, a troubled novelist
in Showtime's series, Californication.
In this September 2007 interview, host Rafael Siegel
interviews the actor about starting his career as an
actor following an undergraduate degree from
Princeton University and a graduate degree in
English Literature at Yale University, doing nude scenes in
his Showtime series, the DVD release of his
film, “The TV Set,” and, at the time, the status of
a new “X-Files” feature film.
