as hot-yet-devious mom Julie Cooper-Nichol

Besides starring weekly on The O.C., Melinda Clarke had a recurring role as Lady Heather on CSI, as well as guest-starring roles on many TV shows, including Charmed, Everwood, The District, Nash Bridges, Xena: Warrior Princess, Seinfeld, Firefly, and Star Trek: Enterprise. 

In the interview taped in late September 2005 with host Cindy Rhodes, she talked about her career as being typecasted numerous times as "the bad girl" and her feelings working with the young cast of The O.C.
