She is the most decorated U.S. woman in Winter Olympic history


Born in Cornwall, New York, Bonnie Blair has won an outstanding five gold medals and is the only U.S. Olympian to win gold medals in the same event at three straight Olympic Games (for 500-meter speed skating in 1988, 1992, and 1994). 

In the interview with host Cindy Rhodes, Bonnie talks about Dollar for the Dream, a donation program that support future American Olympic athletes. Participants will receive a commemorative four-color pin depicting the Olympic cauldron and rings for each dollar donated. It is backed by a minimum $1 million donation by Visa, the program’s sponsor, which in addition will match ever dollar donated up to $2 million.
