On TV,
Richard had a four-year run on ABC's
General Hospital and his own
self-titled nationally syndicated
talk show. He currently hosts a
weekly Sirius radio show called
Lighten Up with Richard Simmons.
In the June 2006 interview with
Sidewalks host Cindy Rhodes,
Richard talks about how everyone
should eat a salad a day to help
lose weight and be fit.
Additionally, he tells us about the
first-ever salad fashion show, The
Salad Days of Summer Fashion Show,
that helped raised money for
America’s Second Harvest.
