Special Feature: Self-Installing Car Seat

A special segment for the parents! Lori introduces us to the Self-Installing Car Seat. Check out this technology marvel.

In a special interview, SIDEWALKS’ Lori Rosales talks to the Director of Product Management for 4Moms and Child Passenger Safety Technician Mara McFadden, who shows us a new self-installing car seat. The Self-Installing Car Seat installs itself correctly by automatically leveling and tensioning, verifies the installation before every ride and then continuously monitors its status during use.

McFadden joined 4moms in 2014 after nearly ten years of engineering and product management in medical device and consumer health industries, with roles at Johnson & Johnson and Philips Healthcare. She has worked on products such as the OneTouch blood glucose metering system, Cordis endovasuclar stents, and Philips Respironics ventilators. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California Berkeley and a Masters in Business Administration from the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University.
