Anthony
Snow
Special
correspondent Anthony Snow has been working as
an accomplished actor for years.
Professionally, he has been seen on stage
(at the Center Repertory Company in Arthur
Miller's "A View From The Bridge"), on
television (with country music star LeAnn Rimes
on NBC's Days Of Our Lives), and in film
(starring as Clyde Barrow in "Bonnie &
Clyde").
In late 1997,
Anthony called Sidewalks to inquire about
appearing as a host after watching several
episodes of the award-winning series.
Ironically, his first appearance with the Sidewalks
team was technically a non-Sidewalks
production. "Anthony's debut with us,"
recalls executive producer Richard R. Lee,
" was not on a Sidewalks episode,
but on a live 6-hour production of KCRT
Television's Cinco De Mayo '98. [Sidewalks'
host] Cindy Rhodes and I were hosting the
event, and he sat in with us to interview and
co-host the special. His appearance on the Cinco
telecast was sort of a preview for the Sidewalks
viewers."
Anthony's
first assignments on Sidewalks were two
strong celebrity interviews. In one day, he
interviewed rising country star Deana Carter,
and an hour later, he talked to rock legend Bruce
Hornsby. Other interviews include actress Gail
O'Grady and songwriter Jim Brickman.
Born in Sonora
California, Anthony is continuing with his
acting gigs, constantly jetting from Los Angeles
and the San Francisco Bay Area.
