Jewel Whitworth

The Sidewalks series is dedicated to the memory of
Jewel C. Whitworth
(February 12, 1912 - April 25, 1997)

Jewel was a crew member and a featured on-air player  (1988-1994) of the original cable show. Although she wasn't a trained television professional, she brought "support" and a "motherly love" to our team on Wednesday nights when we taped our program.

She helped us with props for the show, she danced and sang on the show, and she opened her home for our staff meetings.

Jewel was truly a teamplayer. She will always be missed.
