Shereelynn Manlangit
Meet Shereelynn Manlangit, former correspondent and production mate for your entertainment TV series

Shereelynn Manlangit
was an integral part of the Sidewalks Entertainment team in 2003 and 2004.

Her first appearance on Sidewalks wasn't an official correspondent position. Sher (as her friends call her) was on her third day assisting the production crew during a Blu Cantrell interview in San Francisco. She appeared with hosts Cindy Rhodes and Richard R. Lee at the end of the episode, where she proudly displayed her autographed CD that was signed by the R&B / Hip-Hop singer.

Officially, Sher did her first corresponding for Sidewalks Entertainment at the 2003 California Music Awards. Backstage at the annual event, she interviewed jazz musician Jenna Mammina, San Francisco Bay Area rock band Tragedy Andy, and R&B singer Jon B.

Besides appearing in front-of-the-camera, Sher also co-produced and co-edited episodes of Sidewalks: Video Nite, the music video spinoff.

Sher also worked as a valued team mate at KCRT Television, where Sidewalks was being co-produced at the time. There, she also reported news for KCRT's Update series – writing, editing and producing community news stories. Additionally, she worked on many of the station's productions; which included live coverage of important city events.

Today, Sher works in public relations; but plans to make appearances during the current season of Sidewalks on her spare time.

Sher is one of the few individuals that have assembled episodes of Sidewalks: Video Nite. After assisting executive producer / head editor Richard R. Lee on one Video Nite episode, she was assigned to co-produce and edit an entire edition on the very next session.
"She mastered some of the technical side of editing with only a few instructions," says Richard. "She also has a good sense in deciding which position the video clips should be placed. She's such a quick learner that I left the room after I edited a couple of clips, and she did the rest of the show on her own. Pretty remarkable for a person who's only real experience is from school."
