William
Hodgson
Former Videographer
(Cable Series)
Graduated from San Francisco
State University in 1997, William Hodgson joined
the Sidewalks Entertainment team in March
of 1998.
William was a producer and editor for the
30-minute program, Dealing with Disabilities,
and the seven-minute segment called DUI:
Fatalities on the Highways. In addition
to San Francisco State, he attended the Academy
of Arts College in San Francisco pursuing a BFA
in Motion Picture Design. He also interned at
KPIX-TV, the CBS Network affiliate in San
Francisco.
When he was employed at KCRT Television in Richmond, CA,
William was working on several of the TV
station's projects, including Outlook, Update,
KCRT Candidates Night, Cinco de Mayo
Festival, and The Richmond City Council
Meetings. In July 2004, William joined
the City of Fairfield's governmental affairs
television station. Concurrently, William is a camera operator for Contra Costa Television's (CCTV)
Ask The Doctor and The Languages of
Sound and Music.
Before he left
the program in
2003 for new opportunities, William was
one of the videographers
for Sidewalks' host segments and
celebrity interviews, and he edited a
number of episodes of Sidewalks:
Video Nite, our music video
spinoff, during the 1999-2000 season.
