Even though the TV show is not produced in Hollywood or New York, "Sidewalks Entertainment" has been getting interviews
from today's top stars and recording artists.
In addition to celebrity interviews, the award-winning program has featured regional musical performers, behind-the-scenes remote segments, and artistic, cultural and novelty acts.
 


Celebrity Interviews:
Sidewalks Entertainment's on-air personalities have interviewed a variety of stars. Here's the short list:

Actresses: Brittany Murphy, Doris Roberts, Melinda Clarke, Jennie Garth, Jamie-Lynn Discala, AnnaSophia Robb, Catherine Bell, Teri Garr

Spotlighting of San Francisco Bay Area Music
From rock to alternative, R&B to jazz, a long-list of rising Bay Area musicians and groups have appeared, including Premiere (from San Jose), Bay Area Music Award Winner and blues musician Joe Louis Walker (Marin County), The Jenny Thing and Randy Wilson (Berkeley); Coal Train, Ciara and Chant (San Francisco); Ron Matthews (Oakland); The Big Picture (El Sobrante); D Groove (Daly City); Eddie G, SixSense and Impact (Richmond); and Cry Red (Pleasanton).

In addition to the musical artists appearance, many of the acts have been featured in exclusive mini-music videos which are produced and directed by the creative Sidewalks crew.


Artistic, Cultural and Novelty Acts
Some of the artistic, cultural and novelty acts have included: Project Bandaloop (rock climbing dancers); The Near Eastern Dance Company (a belly dancing troop); Masthan and Lejon (fashion designers); Richmond Bloco (an East Bay Center for the Performing Arts steel band group); Jodi and Brent Welch (world champion footbag record holders); Thrills on Wheels (acrobatic roller skating group); Chuck Jarman (creature mask designer); Lee D. Zimmerman (marionette designer and performer); Joseph Gotto (rising filmmaker); Skirmishers (a staged-combat group); Glenn Haywood and Paul Nathan (magicians); The Boogie Down Jugglers (a popular environmental juggling duo); and Karumanta (Andean music group) and Araucaria (a South American dance troop).

Sidewalks
went behind-the-scenes of several events. 

Remote shoots included backstage at the Bay Area Music Awards (Bammies) / California Music Awards, KMEL radio's Summer Jam event, the nationwide Lollapalooza concert tour, Walt Disney's Aladdin ice show, The Renaissance Pleasure Faire, and Ringling Bros. and Barnum and Bailey Circus.

Additionally, the show has produced segments on San Francisco street performers, a sports and boat show, a science fiction convention, stunt and competition kites, and the latest in boomerang designs.

 



In 1994, actor Sean Patrick Flanery ("Young Indiana Jones") was our first celebrity interview via satellite.
